Therapy That Understands Your Pain And Values Your Strength

The writer Mary Anne Radmacher said, “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the silent voice at the end of the day that says, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’”

I believe that each one of us faces our own unique set of obstacles that challenge our confidence and sense of self. But humans are miraculous in their endurance and capacity for healing—and working as a therapist has allowed me to witness the awesome power of solidarity and self-compassion.

Collaborating with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences—including my fellow LGBTQIA+ community members—I strive to create a therapeutic space where my clients can feel safe to explore their emotions, empowered to verbalize their experiences, and encouraged to bring to light what has long been kept in the dark. As an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, I help clients to gently excavate the pain and trauma at the core of their grief and distress so that they can begin the process of healing.

My specialties include anxiety and depression, but I also maintain extensive personal and professional experience working with aspiring parents who are struggling with loss, infertility, or navigating the foster care/adoption process. It’s my hope that an ability to relate to and deeply understand the struggles of my clients will help them to feel safe with and seen by me.

You are not isolated in your pain, and you don’t have to face another day feeling alone. Therapy can help you recognize the innate courage within you as you embark on a journey of healing and acceptance—and I’d be honored to walk that path alongside you.
